Tea with Tiffany - Grey's Kelly Tea Review

Delicate lavender packs a punch with flavor
During my time in San Francisco, there were many places I came to love. When it came to enjoying a pot of tea and a scone smothered in Devonshire cream, there was no place quite like the Leland Tea Company. If you don't recall the post I wrote about Leland's awhile back, you can find it here. It will give a more detailed description about why I loved being a regular at this neighborhood spot on Polk Street.

As often as I could be found at Leland's, it only made sense to incorporate their teas into the Tea with Tiffany videos. That being said, this review will take a look at the Grey's Kelly Black Tea, an Earl Grey tea with hints of Lavender. It's suiting that this tea creates a play on words of the famous Grace Kelly herself. Just like the classic and graceful actress, Grey's Kelly is a combination of flavors that is both soothing and irresistible.

Enjoy the video review below and be sure to check out the Leland Tea Company site for more delicious flavors or to order your own custom blend!

Tea with Tiffany - White Chocolate Cranberry Tea

More delicious-ness coming your way
As an avid tea-drinker, I usually find myself drawn to full-bodied and hearty black teas. But as the summer months begin to take hold, it's always nice to come across a tea suited to the longer days and warmer temperatures. On that note, this newest Tea with Tiffany takes a look at another tea from The NecessiTeas called White Chocolate Cranberry.

You might think from the name of this tea that it would be one you'd see around the winter months, where rich flavors are a perfect accompaniment to the cold weather. Well...it might be, if it were a black tea.

The NecessiTeas takes it one step further, though, by combining the flavors of cranberry and white chocolate with a green tea. It's a perfect balance between creamy and delicate and sure to get your taste-buds dancing. At least it would if taste-buds could dance ;) Enjoy the video and feel free to check out The NecessiTeas website for more upcoming summer month flavors.

Tea with Tiffany - Strawberry Cheesecake Tea Review

All this in a tea cup? Um, yes please.
Oh man, oh man, oh man....it's hard to think of any dessert I adore more than cheesecake. Ok, so maybe it's not so hard to think of other great desserts, but cheesecake definitely rates as of my favorites.

How appropriate then, that there exists a tea which does it justice. Not only do I get to enjoy all the nuances of cheesecake from this cup of tea, but it's also good for you!

This newest addition to the Tea with Tiffany video series takes a closer look at the Strawberry Cheesecake Tea from The NecessiTeas tea company. And yes...it is ridiculously delicious. Any takers?

Tea with Tiffany - Spicy Peach Tea Review

It's that time of year where the sun stays out longer, the flowers are starting to bloom and my wardrobe is begging for a Spring update (ok so that happens year-round). I can think of nothing better to accompany the warm weather than a new tea to try.

That being said, here is the first official video for my Tea with Tiffany video series, in which I take a look at a tea called Spicy Peach from the online tea company, The NecessiTeas. I am obviously much later in posting than this than I originally planned, so my apologies about that.

Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions after viewing the video--and better yet, check out The NecessiTeas site to order your own sample of tea! All in the name of Spring, right?

Leland Tea Company: A Labor of Love

Leland Tea Company: A Teaholic's Haven
This is the first Tea with Tiffany post featuring a local tea company here in San Francisco. Feel free to leave your thoughts about the tea house, or better yet, plan a trip to experience it for yourself!

The wind had a bite to it and I was bundled in my scarf, gloves and peacoat when I arrived at the Leland Tea Company for my scheduled interview. A jazzy music number played in the background while the warm overhead lighting  lured in cold-numbed passerbys like myself from the street. I had yet to have any tea, but already the atmosphere assured me that this was a teaholic's haven.

I had been to Leland's a few times before, and was thus greeted with an easy familiarity by Ronnie--an employee with a ready smile and talent for recommending winning tea combinations. As I stood at the loose leaf tea bar deliberating over what flavor would sufficiently warm me up, Ronnie suggested a Chai blended with "Kisses" - a black tea with distinct infusions of rich chocolate. If I didn't already believe that a girl's heart could be won over by a cup of tea, this brew would've had me declaring my infatuation for who knows how long.

Tea with Tiffany Update!

Well, where is the tea?

So you may or may not have noticed that there hasn't been any new additions to the Tea with Tiffany video reviews. Obviously, it has been longer than the two to three weeks than I previously mentioned in the introduction. There have been a few reasons for this including the craziness of the holidays, moving cities and generally trying to get my life in order (an ongoing process).

Have no fear, though! The videos will be up and running VERY soon. I will be receiving some samples from Linsey Manning of The NecessiTeas tea company and I'm eager to get sipping. In that same vein, I have another exciting update to share with you all.
