Life's an Adventure, so Taste the Rainbow

It's Friday, the sun is out (thank you, Colorado), and there are so many things to appreciate about life. Whether you're having a bad day, a good day, or a 'it-doesn't-get-better-than-this' kind of day, I hope you can take a moment to sit back and really look around you. It just might help you see how lucky you are, too. Don't believe me? That's okay - everyone has their own moment of epiphany and yours doesn't have to be today. The important part is that you simply try looking.

I don't care if you're having a bad hair day, if you were late to work this morning, you ran out of coffee (blasphemous!) or you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Let it go and remember that you are a kick-ass person, whose hair probably doesn't look as bad as you think it does. Hopefully ;) At the very least, the day is young and it's still up to you to turn things around. I also see a hair salon down the street I'm on just in case you're still worried.

I'm eating a handful of skittles while writing this - yes, skittles on a Friday morning - and it already feels like the perfect way to start today on the right foot. The way I see it, we can always use more tastes of the "rainbow" throughout life - whether it comes in the form of sugary candy or laughing at the little things. So let the sunshine in, kick back your feet, and soak up the goodness around you. It's Friday and you totally deserve it ;)
